Candace!!
Thanks. This is cool looking. Great choice. Now I have to figure out how to use it. Dash, help!
Hilarie!!
Way to be on top of it and get in there!
Jeff, Emily and Marin are about two hours from Japan at the moment. Yeah, I've been missing them all day. And an hour ago Brentz discovered Marin's little black horse, "Spot", in the covers of our bed. Hopefully Spot is new enough to Marin that his absence won't be noticed until he arrives in Japan.
I love you guys! Good night.

We made it! We are in Japan! The flight was about 11 hours long. We touched ground at 12:25 PM MST, and 3:25 PM local time. The flight went well. Marin slept only the first hour and did well the rest of the time, coloring and playing with her new fun stuff. (Thanks Grandparents!). Jeff couldn't sleep and watched movies. I did sleep off and on, and read a book. We are now at the airport waiting for the bus to come pick us up. We have about 45 minutes to wait. Then it's a 3 hour bus ride to Camp Zama. Looking at the map, it looks like maybe 60 miles or so. A soldier from Camp Zama came to show us the way there so we don't get lost along the way.
We are doing well. We are very excited to be here! There are Japanese people and Japanese signage all around us.

Wow, after a long bus ride through Tokyo, we are now settled into Army Lodging were we will be until a place opens up for us to live---however long that may be. We're in a small hotel room. It's reasonably comfortable, and we have internet!
We're very tired and going to bed. It's 10:00 pm local time, but it feels like midnight. We'll keep in touch.
